About Me

A photograph captures something special that not only brings you back to a particular time in your life, but also takes you back to one tiny fleeting moment. As we get further away from that moment, memories fade and the photograph’s significance increases and becomes a rich treasure.

My passion for photography rests in capturing such moments. I love experiencing people’s love for one another or the love of their craft, work or sport. I aim to capture the spectrum of human emotion and connection in every picture I take. I aspire to take photos that not only capture a moment, but tell a story.

My work as co-director of Public Annex and farm manager for the Kadinky Family Farm has truly taught me the value of being present. This appreciation for slowing down to embrace the present moment also sits at the core of my love for photography. I am excited to share present moments with you and be able to contribute something you can appreciate forever and share with friends and family.

I specialize in shooting couples and families in nature. When I have more than one person and a beautiful landscape in front of the camera, this is where some real organic magic occurs. I also focus on photographing special moments and milestones in people’s lives, be it an addition to the family, graduation, or any other special day.

Lastly, I have an affinity for capturing the passion you have for your work,  music, craft or sport. It’s invigorating to witness and capture someone inspired by what they are doing in the world. Plus, the spark and spray of a welder in action or a first goal in soccer is just plane fun to photograph. Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me and my process. I look forward to working with you and yours.
